Paid Online Surveys - How to Make a Lot of Money

For those who would like to try online paid surveys as a way to earn some extra cash, you need to be conscious that you will be spending anywhere between 10 to 45 minutes answering questions and filling out forms. Some sites offer the possibility to resume, others don't. It can be very tedious at times if you don't feel like sitting in front of a computer for that long but it is easy money made!

Here are step-by-step instructions on what to do to make more than extra cash online with paid surveys.

1) Set up an email address account. Ideally pick a Google account (Gmail) because Hotmail has a spam filters so strict that you may miss some opportunities. You'll find out that you'll receive invitations to participate in a survey by email. So it is important that they don't fall into your spam folder.

2-A) Join as many survey companies as possible. Yeah, I know; about a dozen of those companies are easy to find although there are hundreds of them! You can do a research on the internet, ask around in forums, come across them by chance, etc. It can be very time consuming and it's better for you to use that time completing surveys and make some extra cash rather than searching on the internet for paid surveys companies.

OR

2-B) Buy/Join one of those paid membership sites. I highly recommend this method and only if it's a one-time fee and if the site offers a 100% money-back guarantee. For a small of amount of $20-$50, you have access to ALL the marketing research companies looking for participants like you. Your chances of getting a paid surveys are higher with 100 companies than just 10 companies. So this can become very lucrative at some point.

3) Once you've signed up, you'll be asked to complete a profile so that the company can put you in categories. Some personal information will be needed. Keep in mind that your profile is used to evaluate you as a consumer for a certain product or category of products. You will receive surveys on products and services that you are acquainted with. In other words, this also means that you qualify for the survey. If you are not a target customer, then there's no need to get your opinion on that specific product or service. Remember, the more accurate and honest the information you provide are, the easier and more fun you'll have at completing surveys.

4) Check your inbox every day. Since you've signed up for many survey companies, you'll be likely to receive at least 5-20 invitations to complete surveys on a daily basis. Again, the number will vary according to your profile. Also check your spam folder and whitelist the email addresses that are coming from paid survey companies to ensure that you will receive future correspondence from them.

If you follow step 2-B, you'll be making more than extra cash with paid surveys. Unlike what others may say about online paid surveys, it can generate a significant income on a regular basis. There are websites that contain a list of market research companies offering paid surveys for users from all around the world.

The key is to be patient and consistent. The money will come!

What is Social Bookmarking?

Social Bookmarking has become all the rage in the recent Web 2.0 Revolution. With a collaborative effort of users around the globe it has created an interesting and relevant alternative to the existing search engine search model.

What is Social Bookmarking? Social Bookmarking can be defined as a collaborative location where users can bookmark, tag and group URL's that they deem to be of worthy content. This gives it a different spin in comparison to the search engine algorithms because it is all human edited.

Now this doesn't necessarily provide end-users with a perfect system as there are ways that crafty netpreneurs can try to game the system by getting people to bookmark and tag their URL's to higher rankings, but for the most part the user-edited system is a solid model that should be followed for years to come. It does provide an interesting insight into the different perspectives that are out there.

Digg is one of these social bookmarking sites. The way Digg works is relatively simple. You sign up with them and create an account. Once you create an account you can bookmark and tag any URL you like. If others in the community find that URL to be worthy they can "Digg" it. This basically gives them a thumb up in terms of acceptance. If the end-user does not like the URL it can bury it essentially giving it a thumb down.

With this type of thumbs up or thumbs down approach the system can use the collaborative effort of the masses to help decide which URL's should be listed on the front page , and which stories should be given top billing. If you do manage to get yourself listed on the first page for a bit you are in for a big surge in traffic as there are many members that utilize Digg.

Del.icio.us is another similar social bookmarking site. It uses the collaborative effort to provide end-users with the most relevant topics on the different items. Del.icio.us has a decidedly more search engine feel to it and it doesn't offer the end-user the option to be able to bury a URL. It does however rank the search tags by the number of members who have saved the link to their bookmarks. This provides a similar way of ranking URL's direct relevance to the search tag. The more people decide to save that tag, the higher up in that ranking the tag will show.

As with Digg, if you have the opportunity to be listed on the first page or in the hot listings you will be blessed with a nice little traffic surge that many would love to have.

As you can see Social Bookmarking is a very powerful tool for the use of traffic generation, and it looks as though it is here to stay.

Making Money Using Forums - Forum Marketing

Forums are excellent sites that get tons of traffic and have many loyal and dedicated members only too willing to help others whilst simultaneously promoting their products.

If an internet marketer is not using a forum to make money online, then they are leaving a lot of money sitting on the table.

Many people are internet savvy and know how to market online fairly well; but some have trouble getting that initial traffic to kick-start their process. Forums provide all that and you may not have to spend your cash on Pay per Click or frantically search around hunting for your first prospects.

Forums give a sense of belonging to the lonely internet marketer and a feeling of being part of a community. They are also useful for finding out what is new in your niche and what is the subject most talked about. Many forums have a search facility where you can gain knowledge about a specific aspect of your industry. You can also pick up on trends and what some of the sub-niches in your industry are.

How to make money in an online forum

You need to post regularly in forums and people who read your posts will also read your signature file (a paragraph that says something about you and your offer). Your aim then is to get them to click on your link. When posting on forums, I always use my real name as my username because after all, people join people and I have nothing to hide. Your aim is to go in there and offer value, go in with the intention of helping others who have posted questions and start building credible and sustainable relationships with others.

How to set up an effective signature file in an online forum

If you promote an affiliate product (or even your own product) you can just copy the headline from the sales letter and then include a link to that sales letter. Include a call to action like 'click here' or you could hyperlink the name of the product and include the headline of the sales letter. If it is your own product you are promoting, use the name of the product hyperlinked. An example of this would be 'Create your own website for FREE' and hyperlink this phrase.

If you are an affiliate, you can use a 'blind' promotion and not mention the name of the product, a teaser in effect. People are curious and will click on the link just to see what it is all about.

Another thing you can do is set up a landing page and offer a positive review of the product you promote in addition to offering an added bonus for people who purchase through your affiliate link.

An excellent way of marketing is if you have used the product yourself and seen actual results. For example if you are promoting weight loss products or hair products you can put out a statement to the effect these products have had on you.

Something else that can produce excellent results is if you make a special offer for members of each individual forum. For example if you post in a 'Fat Loss Forum', you could offer a FREE product 'For members of the Fat Loss Forum only' and hyperlink this anchor text to your landing page where they can access the free offer.

Alternatively, you can have several links to several different products and separate each of these with a pipe (l) such as Lose that 10lbs in 7 days l Weight Loss Pills l Easy Workout.

If you have a product in the 'make money/work from home' industry, another thing you can do in your signature file is to promote your affiliate programme. Link to a page talking about your product, why it is so good and why others should promote it.

If you want to track how effective your signature files are, you can use a tracking link instead of pointing directly to your landing page. Whilst forum marketing is 'free' you do need to put time and effort into it. You also need to know that it pays you enough for your time and if you follow the above, you should get paid more than fairly.

Forum Marketing - making money using search engines

The popular forums in your industry are considered huge authority sites and they have a lot of weight in the search engines. Try searching for 10 random terms and you will see that many times, some of the top results are forum threads.

Using a forum to make money - not the only reason

You need to be clear about why are you in the forums, you are in there to offer value and make money and it is very easy to spend hours upon hours in there. Plan this so that you allocate a specific amount of time i.e. 2 hours reading and replying to posts. Do not fall into the trap either of visiting each thread once you have posted it just to see if someone else has posted into it and you need to reply. We all want to feel loved but you are running a business and that needs to remain your focus.

What is CPA? - A Comprehensive Explanation

CPA, which stands for Cost per Action, is basically a form of affiliate advertisement that is used by almost all companies throughout the world in order to generate leads for their products.

This marketing is done by affiliates who work through their own websites in order to send traffic to the advertiser's website for the product of the company. CPA deals with specific forms of marketing which involve pay per click and pay per lead ads.

Although Google used CPA networking as a major part of their advertising campaign till June 2008, eBay has now taken up this form of marketing and calls it AdContext. CPA is also known as Cost per Acquisition. This makes more sense literally, since affiliate advertisers under CPA networks are paid based on what the advertiser acquires from his or her customers.

There is no returning of funds in this sort of advertisement. As long as the entire action is completed by potential customers, affiliates get paid per lead that they provide to the advertiser. This makes it easier and simpler for advertisers to work for their company, as well as for affiliates to work for their advertisers.

Since there are many CPA networks out there and hundreds of affiliates are hired from these networks, advertisers usually have affiliate managers who go through the resume of each of these affiliates and hire only those who have the best lead generation records, or are the most appropriate for a specific line of marketing.

The basic deal with CPA marketing is to generate traffic to the company's website. This job is outsourced by the advertisers of these companies to the affiliates, who in turn get paid in commission depending on the quality of lead generation that they can provide. Affiliates then use various forms of advertising such as banner ads, keywords, article directories, pay per click ads and video ads to attract more traffic for the website.

Companies that sell insurance, credit and/or debit cards, public bonds or even ring tones of cell phones, use CPA networks to build their leads. Affiliates should stay in touch with their managers since the latter are well informed about the latest information regarding the COA networks and the newest ideas for this sort of marketing.

Although getting paid $30 for each action that an affiliate is able to generate from potential customers may seem like a cheap bargain for the work that they go through, if they have a handsome customer profile of about 400 to 500, then this amount can multiply into a hefty pay packet per month.

What is ClickBank's Future?

At the time I am writing this, the world is slowly recovering from an 'economic meltdown'. It seems to be that millions have been affected by the recession, and thousands of businesses have closed. It seems like an awkward time then to start an affiliate marketing career, but as so many have proved, it is easily possible. This brings me on to the main subject of this article which is to talk about ClickBank's future.

As you probably know, ClickBank is the world's largest affiliate network, with thousands of products, and having paid out over $1.4 billion dollars in the life it has. So, what about ClickBank's future? This goes right into the affiliate core business, and like many other physical businesses many affiliates will shut up shop. However, while the rest of the world has seen a decrease in spending, the internet has seen an increase in spending.

This is due to the phenomenal growth of the net, and the explosion that has been taking place. There is still an incredible number of people not hooked up the internet, and this explosion will ensure that there will always be people buying online. Unless something like climate change or an asteroid wipes out a significant part of the human race, ClickBank's future looks to be very, very stable.

If you want to start selling products online, then now seems to be a good time as any to begin.

So far we have discussed ClickBank's future as part of the internet in general. But, how about the actual ClickBank? After all, it supports thousands of people worldwide, and if it shut up shop tomorrow, you would see many people lose their businesses effectively overnight. However, it is precisely because of that ecosystem that ClickBank supports that makes me confident that the mega site will be around for a long time to come.

For example, if ClickBank were to close, many large companies such as Google would lose tens of millions a year in revenue. Not to mention all the small businesses that rely on ClickBank's future, and actually bank on it being there for a long time. ClickBank was founded in 1998, and so far it is doing well, so I wouldn't worry about CB closing.

As I have said before, the internet is a very sustainable place for an affiliate. Not to mention affiliates can move with such agility, they can always grab the best products to make money off. So what such and such product has had its day? One day later and a top affiliate will have a brand new website and ads ready to promote to the next big thing. This makes the affiliate marketing future and ClickBank future as sustainable as possible.

Yeah, sure there will be bumps, up and down. But for the most part, ClickBank's future is as safe as a Swiss bank account.

Find a Domain Name - An Optimal Approach to the Domain Name Market

When I first started internet marketing I was faced with the hardest task of choosing a domain name to buy. At this time, I knew little about nothing and I made one of the worst decisions in my career. Which was buying a clever or catchy titled domain name. Not only did I waste my money trying to build a website on a domain name that wasn't optimal. I also wasted months of valuable time that could have been used more productively. Of course, now I know better, but most people don't which is why I chose to write on the subject.

One of the most important things to do is choose the domain name that's right for your website. What kind of website are you trying to make is the most important question to answer. Let's say that you are building a website about money. Well the topic of money is extremely broad and can be about anything. After deciding what you want the website to be about like currencies or even how to make money the perfect domain name is surfacing. Let's say you want to build a website on how to make money then that would be the perfect domain name to buy. There are a variety of ways that you can register it even if that domain name is took. You can put dashes and underscores if the other methods fail. Keep in mind that you still do need to establish brand recognition for your website. Which means don't make a URL like "how_tomake-money.com."
